My dissertation research focused on developing a framework for capturing the domains of students’ struggles in undergraduate general chemistry laboratory and proposing an asset-based definition of productive struggle in laboratory education. In future scholarship activities, I plan to focus on reimaging green chemistry principles using decolonizing theories and working toward developing socio-historical and place-based undergraduate chemistry curriculum.Â
